Yeh Hain NITIE, Meri Jaan............

You used to be my dreamland
A place where most lovely memories for life were created
You’d made every minute of my life special..........

19th June’08, still remember the date. We were welcomed to the college through lovely and bond building event – Groove. All of those seemed only yesterday; I wished that was yesterday and I could re-live all those memories and days again.

1st module went in a jiffy; regular lectures, studies, assignments, late nights, an awesome Mandi experience, committee/forum interviews, parties. I just can’t forget to recollect my head-wall banging event and ultimately screwing exams and grads. However importantly; seeds of new and life-long memorable friendship were being sprouted.

Then came the career shaping but highly tensed Summers process! GDs, PIs, PPTs, Excitement, Tension, Achievers, Under-achievers, and Controversies – story of the week. However the emotional support from friends, their soothing and comforting voice and their constant backing was the brightest outcome of the story to remember forever.

2nd module went past writing CFA, attending Prerana, marvellous trip to beautiful and exotic Nepal. However many stories happened in between; like Chop’s legendary linkage, multi-controversial Fresher’s party, Paedo’s legendary dialogue after the Prerana party, Arpit’s one-liners and man-liners making juicy and enjoyable headlines, Ambu’s Radio and last but not the least the so-called CRUSHing incident making me instantly famous and giving my lovely friends ammo for their gun during this beautiful stay at Nitie. ;-)

CFA results came more of a shock then surprise, but what the heck.........in NITIE, pain has no place when Friends occupy the entire place in the heart. March Samiksha rocked Nitie and the entire headlines were captured by Rakshit’s Audio-Visio show rather than a Saarrrrrr juice episode this time. :P

Summer internship was fun. A gang of 10 boys creating havoc in a place where angels out-beautified each other every day; wait what was the place’s name.........Housing Development of Fairy-queen Competition! :P

In 5th and 6th module; fun just had a new meaning.......lectures became as scarce like availability of internet in noon, study-time for exams reduced from a day to a hour, and parties increase from few in months to few in weeks. Juniors were welcomed with open heart and arms and quantity of gossips increased like the spread of game-o-maniacal buzz in Nitie.

If not for Samiksha and $treet; I don’t know how I would have been able to pass the immensely available time in Nitie. Work and college wouldn’t have been as enjoyable if you all were not around; have certainly made friends for Life!

I am proud and extremely happy to have lived my Nitie life in the legendary Khandelwal era, under the shadow of Rahul’s Studdddness, with an extremely kool Pondy......(ironical, but true), our Shitty gujju – the Finguru, one-liner king Arpit, Chop a.k.a Gyan baba, porn-king sankalp!!!!!!!! U bastards, U rock! Will miss U all!!!!!

There are many more close friends; all of whom who have made my stay in Nitie memorable! I wish our paths cross again SOON!

I can go on writing ON-and-ON; but I guess every good thing like Nitie has an end. I guess that is why it becomes special and more memorable and worth recollecting IT on every other day from today.......
